Hostel 64 大阪の小さなデザインホテル

This is where I stayed during the short few days in Osaka. Was really glad and pleased that it was exactly what I saw when I made the reservations online. If you’re heading to Osaka, this is one place I would highly recommend.

How I wish my room looks like that now.

Universal Studios Japan ユニバーサルスタジオジャパン

After spending a whole day at Universal Studios, I realized that I’m starting to feel old. Too old since the rides aren’t exciting or thrilling anymore.

What I like about it however, is the enthusiasm from the locals who were happily adorning the head gear and accessories. Spider-dudes even posed for me! Awesome.

Osaka

So off I went to KIX - Osaka/Kansai yes, taking advantage of the cheap promo deals. Flights like what I booked, 0120 - 0850 would seem ideal but not for my case. Falling asleep on the plane was never easy for me. In fact, it was a sleepless journey and day one was just tiring as hell.

Kuromon Ichiba Market 黒門市場, from fresh seafood to a wide range of assorted tempura.

Osaka Castle 大阪城天守閣climbed up about 5-7 storeys high to catch the view of Osaka.

There was also a temple within the compound.

Tenjinbashisuji Shotengai Shopping Street 天神橋筋商店街, about 2.6km long and I think we covered the whole stretch. Walking aimlessly and discovering bits of shopping pleasure like the huge h&m store.

To sum it all up, osaka was bit of a blur. From the complicated metro to the all japanese menu. I’m glad I survived it all.
