Whilst I was exploring Arashiyama 嵐山 , I walked passed a street and spotted signage of a little boy from a distance. Somehow I walked right in and was delighted to find a cute little pre school with Anpanman アンパンマン on the gates. How adorable.

After enjoying the scenic train ride along the Hozu River, my family and I made our way to the Saga-Toriimoto Preserved Street 嵯峨鳥居本 (さがとりいもと) which was amazing by the way. We took a break and nestled at a quaint little tea house 茶屋 that serves lunch and dessert. それはおいしかった。And to top it off, pretty matchboxes were also given to us after our sumptuous meal — すごい!
