After enjoying the scenic train ride along the Hozu River, my family and I made our way to the Saga-Toriimoto Preserved Street 嵯峨鳥居本 (さがとりいもと) which was amazing by the way. We took a break and nestled at a quaint little tea house 茶屋 that serves lunch and dessert. それはおいしかった。And to top it off, pretty matchboxes were also given to us after our sumptuous meal — すごい！
